Will this show up on my North Carolina driving record?

Those convicted of an improper equipment will see the offense show up on their North Carolina Driving record.  While an improper equipment is a non-moving violation and results in zero insurance points and zero DMV Points.  In the past, convictions of improper equipment would not show up on one's driving record, but due to various pressure and the recognition that some individuals where receiving multiple improper equipments despite receiving many traffic violations and maintaining a clean driving record, the North Carolina legislature now requires that improper equipment outcomes be recorded on the North Carolina driving records.
